Potato Cakes

This week the Culinary Arts class prepared potato pancakes, also known as potato cakes, for a good snack. The dish, being as simple as it is, was surprisingly delicious. It is highly recommended for any beginner cook. It is very cheap to make and can feed many with little money. Tristin also singed his arm hair off.
Recipe
Directions
1. Grate potatoes and onions.
2. Put in rag and ring out.
3. Mix with egg, cornstarch, flour.
4. Fry until golden brown on each side in frying pan.
5. Salt and pepper to taste.

- ½ grated onion
- 1 egg
- 1 Tablespoon of cornstarch
- ½ tablespoon of flour
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
